Heading To University's Life

Time flies fast.
When I was in kindergarten, I wondered how my primary school's life will be...
When I was in primary school, I wondered how my secondary school's life will be...
And when I was in secondary school, I wondered where would I study after this...
And luckily, I got the opportunity to continue my study in matriculation...then again...
I wondered if I could secure a place at any university...
And yea...I'm actually getting curious of what happens next, and sometimes, I can't deny that I'm not scared of it, because I can just make a good plan for my future, but God might change it for my own good :)

Woww..such a long intro! ok..straight to the point!
I got offer from UM and UTM, for Science Chemistry course for both uni! At first, I hope that I can study Pharmacy, but it seems like God gives me the BEST.. Nevermind, just go with the flow..hehe..

But then, after I rechecked my online application in UM, USM, UKM, UTM and UPM...I found that I put Science Chemistry as one of my choices of courses for all the universities!! Wow, it seems like there is a STRONG CHEMISTRY between Chemistry and me..lol

So, eventually, I choose to go UM, the oldest university in Malaysia...and guess what, I get the oldest residential college as well, the 1st Residential College, which was built in 1959...even my dad also haven't born.. Again, nevermind, this will be my golden chance to treasure UM's history :)

Now, it's time for me to wonder how my university's life will be...Of course, I will always hope for the best, enjoy the life, play hard study smart, hunt for every appetizing delicacies, and the MOST important thing is, always make my parents proud of me!!!!

To my friends, who knows me and I know u guys...
Wishing u guys all the best, no matter what the university u choose, what the course u choose, it doesn't matter much as long as u guys believe in yourselves. We are still young and we still have a whale of time to shape our future. Be grateful for what we have today, and try to improve for a better tomorrow. Chill and cheers!!!

USM interview

Finally, I finished my USM interview..
I chose Pharmacy as my first choice and I was shortlisted for the interview!!!! Wheeeee!!...

My dad and I departed from our house at 5.15 a.m., because we wanted to avoid the traffic jam...and yeaa..we eventually managed to avoid the traffic jam, and we reached usm at 5.55 a.m!!! It was too early! So, we waited at the main gate as the gate is still closed!

So, let's make the story short..
The thing that surprised me the most is most of the candidates are KMK ex-students!! Well, this helped me a lot to get myself to adapt easily to the environment.. so, I was not feeling so nervous..

I got interviewed by the Dean, a Malay lady(chairman for pharmaceutical chemistry discipline), and a Chinese lady (chairman for pharmaceutical technology discipline----I think so)
So, the questions that they asked:
1. Self introduce and introduce about your family
2 Why do you choose pharmacy?
3. What do you know about pharmacy?
4. For example, what do you know about pharmaceutical technology?
5. What if u get a job offer to become a pharmacist in Sabah? will you accept?
6. How do you see yourself in 5 years time?
7. What are the 2 qualities that you have that is suitable for this course?
     (my answer included giving attention to finest of details..then, they asked me how many colours are there in usm's logo?)
8. Can you sing, dance or play any musical instruments?
9. Do you often go to Karaoke? (they just want to know whether we are active or not)
10. *A situational question*

That's all for the questions that they just interviewed me..
To conclude, what can I say here is the interviewers will usually ask us questions based on what we answer..they are related, that's why it is important for us to be honest to ourselves..
So, be well-prepared and don't get yourself into trouble...be honest always and just chill :)

Kedah Matriculation College (part 5)

The next event which was held in January in 2016 is the... CREATIVE MEDIA FESTIVAL, conducted by the Resident Media

After the mid sem break + cny break, there was the CHINESE NEW YEAR NIGHT!!

A lot of great performances were done by the Chinese students, and the event was so successfully conducted!!! Thumbs up!!

The next event is the CULTURAL NIGHT!!! It was conducted by the KMK's Indian Society...

Exciting activities included games, photo booths, henna art, sales ( Indian sweets, muruku, drinks..)

At night, there were a lot of performances...Good job!!!

Kedah Matriculation College (part 4)

Finally!!! I had officially graduated from KMK!! So, there is a lot of free time for me to  update my blog..^^

Now, let us see how my semester 2 life in KMK was going on..There were a lot of eventsss... Yes, too many, almost every weekend will be spent on those events. Actually, the events were organized by the students themselves, and this was so beneficial to the students as they at least will have the experience in organizing events!! Congratulations and BRAVO!!

EVENTS IN SEM 2
KARNIVAL KEUSAHAWANAN by the Account students. It's just like the 'upgraded' canteen day as in secondary school. The account students have to sell things, like selling food, drinks, souvenirs, t-shirts, open a ghost house, game stations and many more..

The food that I like the most during the carnival is the ROTI CANAI TERBANG!!! There was a malay guy, an account student, who was really good in making the roti canai terbang, as his dad is the owner of a restaurant ( I forgot the name of the reastaurant )..
So, his stall got the greatest attention from the students, lecturers and even our Pengarah..and they uploaded his video in Instagram some more..LOL
