Kedah Matriculation College (part 3)

Hye there!

Here, I just want to share some of the interesting things which I have experienced with my friends
Guess what... >>>> Celebrating our birthday here!!!

Usually, we celebrate it at home, with our beloved family, but now, for this year, we have no choice and we can only celebrate it with our college mates. (Unless you are lucky enough to have your birthday during the break!)

But...never mind, new experience right?! And honestly to say, I prefer to spend my birthday here, it is just once in our lifetime, perhaps...

Some of my friends' birthday fall on the day which we can go out for an outing, then, we can celebrate it in any restaurants in the town or we can buy the birthday cakes from the bakery.

If not lucky enough (no outing), then just call for Pizza Hut delivery^^

For now, there were just two of my friends who celebrated their birthday here. (I'm waiting for next semester^^)

Even though we could not celebrate it at home, we could still make some surprises and celebrated it successfully! Cheers!

Kedah Matriculation College (part 2)

Hye there!
I would like to share my daily routines here^^

For KMK, we will start our class on Sunday, till Thursday every week. Classes will start at 8 a.m and will finish at 5 p.m daily.
Sometimes, there will be extra classes if you got the lecturers who are "free and hardworking enough" to give extra classes..( I got one Biology lecturer like this, and I can only go back to my hostel at 7 p.m., but not everyday la.. just sometimes when she is free)

I'm a science-streamed student.

There are 3 kinds of classes we have to attend, which are kuliah, tutorial and amali.

Amali is only for Biology, Chemistry and Physics

KULIAH
Lecture notes are provided (we have to buy it)
The most non-stressful class, because we just need to sit, listen and pay attention to the lecture
But, never be late to enter the lecture hall, or you will face the music!!!

TUTORIAL
Tutorial books and some past year questions are provided ( we have to buy it also)
Tutorial class is divided into 2, class A and B...As you can see from my schedule, I'm class B.
For some subjects, they will combine class A and B together...and for some other subjects, we will be separated.
Assignments, quizzes, exercises from tutorial books, presentations are given...
So, just do the best to gain better marks^^

AMALI
Lab manuals are given (have to buy it as well)
We have to prepare jotter for every experiments (before we conduct an experiment, jotter will be our guideline)
We have to prepare lab reports as well ( after we have done the experiment), lab reports will be marked by our own lecturer. Marks will be given and punctuality in submitting it is very important!

So, it seems like a boring life which is full of assignments, lectures, lab reports and so on...
But don't worry, we can still spend our time on outing during weekend..^^

Find joy in our life! Even though we have to face all the challenges as a student, I believe we still need some leisure time for ourselves..

Bear in mind, A DAY WITHOUT LAUGHTER IS A DAY WASTED!!!

Kedah Matriculation College (part 1)

Since I am currently studying in KMK (Kolej Matrikulasi Kedah), so I would like to share some of my life experience and my daily routines here. This might be a little bit useful to my juniors if they are offered to study in KMK.

Here, I would like to share some photos (which were taken by me) related to KMK, the facilities provided, the scenery that can be seen and so on.. Just enjoy and chill! <3

The field is so big and thus, KMK became the host for KAKOM 2015(a sport event for matriculation colleges)

Lecture hall (name given: DKB1- Dewan Kuliah Besar 1)

There are 2 DKB actually, but I still don't have the photo of DKB2, will snap it and post it soon..

There are 4 DKK in total, all the DKK look same only, so I just share one of  them

 



All the lecture halls are air-conditioned, it is pretty cold and thus will make you fall asleep during lecture..XD

 

But don't worry, there are some lectures that will make you focus well during their lecture^^

 

Girls' hostel (name given: Blok Seri Temin 2 a.k.a Blok B2)

This is the hostel where I'm staying now, can see my room from this view, it is 1st floor, the third one if count from left..^^

Ground floor is the house for "felo blok"

 

So, there are actually 3 blocks, Blok Seri Palas (Blok A), Blok Seri Temin (Blok B), and Blok Seri Laka (Blok C). Each block is divided into 2, eg: Blok A1, A2.

Blok A is the boys' hostel, whereas Blok B and C are the girls' hostel.

In each block, there are laundry room, tv room, recreation room and surau. All the facilities are provided.

Just want to share this photo, because it is the place where I want to be at there someday..in the future!!
So, my biggest dream of all is that I can travel to Venice or Macao, because I really really want to have a ride on that gondola^^
