USM interview

Finally, I finished my USM interview..
I chose Pharmacy as my first choice and I was shortlisted for the interview!!!! Wheeeee!!...

My dad and I departed from our house at 5.15 a.m., because we wanted to avoid the traffic jam...and yeaa..we eventually managed to avoid the traffic jam, and we reached usm at 5.55 a.m!!! It was too early! So, we waited at the main gate as the gate is still closed!

So, let's make the story short..
The thing that surprised me the most is most of the candidates are KMK ex-students!! Well, this helped me a lot to get myself to adapt easily to the environment.. so, I was not feeling so nervous..

I got interviewed by the Dean, a Malay lady(chairman for pharmaceutical chemistry discipline), and a Chinese lady (chairman for pharmaceutical technology discipline----I think so)
So, the questions that they asked:
1. Self introduce and introduce about your family
2 Why do you choose pharmacy?
3. What do you know about pharmacy?
4. For example, what do you know about pharmaceutical technology?
5. What if u get a job offer to become a pharmacist in Sabah? will you accept?
6. How do you see yourself in 5 years time?
7. What are the 2 qualities that you have that is suitable for this course?
     (my answer included giving attention to finest of details..then, they asked me how many colours are there in usm's logo?)
8. Can you sing, dance or play any musical instruments?
9. Do you often go to Karaoke? (they just want to know whether we are active or not)
10. *A situational question*

That's all for the questions that they just interviewed me..
To conclude, what can I say here is the interviewers will usually ask us questions based on what we answer..they are related, that's why it is important for us to be honest to ourselves..
So, be well-prepared and don't get yourself into trouble...be honest always and just chill :)

      Hi! No..I didn't get my 1st choice. I'm now studying pure chemistry in UM :) And now, I am so in loved with chemistry

    Btw, would u mind to share with me the situation question? Bcuz I was also been selected to attend thier interview...But I dun ve any interview exp...😅😅

      The question was: once,there's a 10 y/o child went to your pharmacy, he wanted to buy the asthma inhaler for his dad who is having asthma,however he didn't have enough money to pay the thing...so as the pharmacy's owner, what would you do?

    Hi! So the interview was done in Malay or in English ?

      Both. At first, one of the interviewers will ask in English, then another interviewer will ask the questions in Malay
